Get Rid of The Frizz

‘Tis the season of frizz. With all this rain and high humidity we know it’s a challenge to keep that frizz at bay. Here are a few products we recommend to help with that!

#1 Goldwell Dualsences Just Smooth Shampoo – This product is an affordable everyday shampoo that helps reduce frizz. It can help reduce flyaways and has some anti-humidity control.

#2 Kerasilk Control Shampoo – This shampoo is slightly more expensive, but better at long term frizz control. 

#3 Goldwell Dualsences Just Smooth 6 Effect Serum – this leave-in serum gives “6 smoothing effects” including anti-frizz, humidity control, tameability, shine, and manageability. Apply 1-2 pumps to towel dried or dry hair. 

If you regularly use heat tools, we recommend the Goldwell Straightening Balm as a pre-styling step!

Additional tips

• Make sure you are not using too much serum or oils, as it will weigh down your hair.

• Take your heat protection seriously. Too much heat on your hair can lead to more breakage, flyaways and split ends. 
• Protect your hair in the sun! I know there isn’t much of it now, but throughout the summer or winter vacations make sure you are adding a UV protection to your routine. We recommend the Design Me Fab Me leave-in treatment.
